DREAMS COME TRUE IN HOLLYWOOD

News bulletin: Meryl Streep, one of the most brilliant actresses of all time, has signed on to star in the new film adaptation of Mamma Mia!. She will play the lead role of Donna Sheridan, and filming begins in London and Greece this summer. I could not be happier. I have adored this woman since seeing the greatest movie ever made, The Bridges of Madison County, for the first time in 1995. And now, she's set to star in a film based on the musical based on the music of the greatest band in history. Can it get any better? The Mamma Mia! movie will be produced by Tom Hanks, Judy Craymer, Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, and is scheduled for release during the musical's 10th anniversary year, 2009.
